I wish I lived closer! This place is great. Not only do they carry an amazing selection of wine, produce, premade foods, etc, etc, etc, the employees are awesome! The other night, a friend and I made an emergency stop there when we both realized that we managed to not bring our wallets. It was 5 minutes to closing yet they let my friend head home to get her wallet while I hung out with the employees who were friendly, accommodating, and very understanding. To those of you were get to have this as you neighborhood store, I am so jealous!

Summit Store remains exceptional. Known for delicious sandwiches and homemade food, prompt service, and unique country store atmosphere. More than convenient, it is irreplaceable.

Beautiful store in the mountains with a wide array of fresh produce at a great price point. There are also ready to eat items like hot beef chili and tiramisu. This is where you want to make that pit stop and refuel if you're driving through the mountains (I was coming back from some mushroom foraging with a friend). Was very impressed and am sad that they are not closer to South Bay because their products are excellent quality!!!

Don't come here hungry... I was first introduced to this place by a friend that was raving about their marinaded meat section. It was delicious. Great for BBQs or just a weeknight dinner. THEN, I started purchasing my produce here, which I think they have a vibrant selection of fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price. THEN, one day I came here on and empty stomach, bought all of the above, ended up with a Christmas prime rib, and a hot sandwich because I was starving. To top it all off, all the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I should go back sometime soon.

You can't beat the people, their attitude, and their fair prices. Who needs the arrogance of the chain stores?

OMG Found this place on the way to the San Jose-Soquel road shortcut around the Santa Cruz Mountain traffic. Great food to eat now or later. Gizdich pies, Marianne's Ice Cream, all the really good stuff. A destination unto itself. What a treasure.

Should have reviewed this place a long time ago!!!! The staff here is always very friendly and helpful they make it a pleasure to shop. They always have wonderful and fresh fruit and vegetables. My favorite thing is their deli and meat counter, if you haven't tried the Russian rubann yet it is a must. So if you live on the summit or are just up for a weekend drive or bike ride you should definitely stop in for lunch or their great meat selection. Almost forgot!! The popers they make at the meat counter are a great addition to any bbq

Nice grocery store with a great meat, wine & spirits selection. Staff are friendly and helpful at this family owned grocery store. My friends and I always stop by here on our way to Santa Cruz. Prices are a little on the higher side but that's what you'd expect from a small grocery store like this. The sandwiches and salads are a must try. Support this local business.

Perfect pit stop before or after some local wine tasting. I stopped here after a full day of wine tasting and needed some lunch. I decided to go with a deli sandwich, a large bag of chips, a bubbly water, and I could not pass up a dessert. Prices are fair and service is quick. There are plenty of hot items in the food bar that you can grab and go. There are a decent amount of seats outside, however, it got fairly packed when I was visiting.
